In Scotland, Scouts can work towards achieving the prestigious Zodiac Camping Award. This award provides increased opportunities for Scouts to enjoy Nights Away experiences and provides some extra fun challenges into the Scout Section Programme, such as camping above 2000 feet or at 0 degrees or below.
There are three levels of Zodiac Award in the Scout Section - Bronze, Silver and Gold, as well as four annual Scottish Headquarters Commissioner Challenges which Scouts can take part in.
At Zodiac Camps, Scouts will be expected to bring and sleep in their own tents, and prepare/cook food for themselves (under adult supervision). This is a fantastic way of improving their traditional scouting skills. For more information please click here.
